Early in 2001 I was hired by q-bus Mediatektur GmbH in Berlin to work on some special effects animation.
The complete movie was shown the same year at the main booth of Deutsche Telekom AG at the CeBit tradeshow.
Besides the dropping letters I have done the shots for the communicator display.
The rgb colour values of an animated map were read into the geometry.
Then a seperate greyscale animation was created to define the height of each "pixel" over the time.
